So Monica and I had another long talk about the comic and where we want to go with it next. We’ve come up with a new outlook on it, one that will test how well our families recognize that the characters are *not* them, but rather loosly based on exagerations of combinations of them all.

We realized that we were still afraid of offending, because we were concerned our families identify too much with the characters. The characters are not our family, they are characters and are designed to be different, funny, and outrageous.

So armed with this outlook, we were inspired right away with tons of storylines and comics we’d been avoiding.
