Oh come on, I refrained from following up with “mother earth” puns or making wisecracks about people bulging in the middle!

Real conversation, born from the fact that I read wikipedia for fun. As a kid I read the encyclopedia for fun, so Wiki is a natural evolution of that.

Side effects include my attempts to repeat interesting tidbits to the wifey, plus that in conversations I frequently say ”we should wiki that!” whenever we aren’t sure of some fact or trivia involved in the conversation. And then later when I’m on the net - that’s right, I can’t remember any of the things I was supposed to wiki.
